Doug Staneart is the President and CEO of The Leader’s Institute, LLC® and has been a speaker and trainer since 1994. Doug spent eight years as a trainer and a sales person for some of the largest and most successful training companies in the world before founding The Leader’s Institute® in 2002.
Doug is the author of the best-selling books Fearless Presentations® and 28 Ways to Influence People and Gain “Buy-In”. Since December of 2002, when Doug invented the High Impact Leaders™ class, he has trained over 2000 of the world’s future and current leaders. He’s helped over 5000 people eliminate their fear of public speaking since 2003 when he invented the Fearless Presentations® class.

Rick Highsmith is a Regional Vice President for The Leader’s Institute® and has been a speaker and trainer since 1980. His educational background and experience give him credibility when he presents, but his wit and enthusiasm are what have made him a sought-after speaker for many years.
Rick built two successful businesses, in two different industries, from the ground up and eventually sold each of these business. His years as an entrepreneur give him incredible insight to the nuts and bolts challenges that managers and leaders face every day. His new book, Squish Creativity like a Bug is a tongue-in-cheek account of many of the funny challenges that we sometimes create for ourselves as managers.

Connie Timpson is a Senior Instructor and Regional Manager for The Leader’s Institute® and a Benton Fellow from the University of Chicago. She is an award winning journalist and former news director. She is also a highly sought-after media coach who travels around the world coaching news anchors and reporters. She brings out individual strengths as she teaches television journalists how to relate to the viewer, use the camera, and how to write and tell compelling stories that viewers will remember.
Connie’s career has focused on professional presentation skills by getting anchors and reporters to connect with their audiences more effectively. Her international experience as a journalist, media coach, and trainer has allowed her to travel from California to Russia, Luxembourg to Pakistan, and England to Israel. Among her media clients are anchors and reporters at CNN, CBS, the Mayo Clinic and numerous top markets in the US.

Craig Wagganer is a Senior Instructor and Regional Manager for The Leader’s Institute® With B.A. degrees in Business and Theology, and a Masters in Counseling, Craig’s areas of specialty throughout his academic career have been in psychology and building positive relationships in a business, family, and in community settings.
Craig’s professional career has focused on customer service, leadership, and professional mediation. He has worked in quality control for a Fortune 25 company, residential real estate, and has served as a pastor and denomination executive. Having overseen multiple boards and staffs, his passion for effective communication and leadership has led to his leading numerous successful organizations and churches.
Additionally, he has over 25 years of public speaking experience and was certified as a trainer for a number of successful training companies. Craig is often requested for motivational coaching, personal growth counseling, and guest lectures.
